The far side of Chattanooga, and worth the drive
Cleveland is the Bradley County seat, north-east of Chattanooga, and it is the outer edge of where we work. We have advertised it as a service area for years because it is a run we are willing to make, and it is worth being straight about what that means: for a job of reasonable size we will come, and for a very small repair the drive may not make sense for either of us. Call and we will tell you honestly which one yours is.
It is a manufacturing town with a mix of older housing close in and newer subdivisions spreading outward, plus genuinely rural property beyond that. The older stock generates the same work it does everywhere in this region — bathrooms that were last touched decades ago, garages that would be worth more as bedrooms, and decks that were built without much thought about the ledger connection. Out on the rural side it is post-frame: equipment cover, shops and carports.
Because it is at the edge of the radius, this is where we lean hardest on doing several things in one visit. Putting up the barn and the carport together, or building a deck and a fence on the same mobilisation, changes the economics of the drive considerably and it changes the price we can offer. If you have more than one thing you have been meaning to get done, this is the place to mention all of it at once.
- Several buildings in one visit. Barn, carport and cover in matching panel and color, on one mobilisation.
- Pavilions and covered porches. Freestanding or tied to the house, with a finished ceiling rather than bare framing.
- Bathrooms and custom showers. Older bathrooms rebuilt properly, waterproofed behind the tile.
- Decks and fencing. Including the ledger connection, which is where older decks fail.
- Post-frame on rural property. Carports, equipment cover and shops on land outside the town.
- Bundle the work. At this distance, several jobs in one visit genuinely changes the price.

Straight about the distance
Cleveland is the edge of our radius. We will tell you whether your job justifies the drive rather than quoting and then dragging our feet.
One visit, several jobs
Barn plus carport, or deck plus fence, in one mobilisation. It is how the economics work at this range.
Panel work is our own crew
Post-frame is our core trade and nearly all of it is metal-clad. The panel work is routine for us, not subcontracted out.
Bradley County permitting
Different again from the Georgia jurisdictions. We will tell you what we understand applies to your site.
Cleveland Questions
For a job of reasonable size, yes — we have listed it as a service area for years and it is a run we make. For a single very small repair the drive may not be sensible for either of us, and we would rather say that on the phone than take the job and be slow about it. Call and we will give you a straight answer in a minute.
Yes, and at this distance it is genuinely worth doing. Putting up the barn and the carport together, or a deck and a fence on the same mobilisation, spreads the travel and the set-up across more work and changes what we can quote. If you have a list of things you have been meaning to get done, mention all of it.
Usually, and it is worth asking early because it is decided at the order rather than on site. Panel profiles and colors vary by supplier, so if you want a new barn or carport to sit alongside what is already there without looking bolted on, we match the profile and color at the point of ordering. Doing two structures on one order is both cheaper and a closer match than adding the second one later.
Requirements differ from the Georgia counties we work in and from Hamilton County. We will tell you what we understand applies to your specific address when we come out and quote, and we will say plainly if we think something needs permitting rather than leaving you to discover it.
Yes. A full bathroom or a standalone custom shower is a good example of a job that justifies the distance, because it is a couple of weeks of work rather than an afternoon. The waterproofing standard is the same wherever we build it — membrane, sloped pan, formed niches, silicone rather than grout in the corners.
Usually within a week for this end of the area, and we will try to line it up with other work we have on that side. If it is urgent — an active leak, something open to the weather — say so on the phone and we will treat it differently.
